The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce is a member-based organization designed to promote economic vitality in Brown County as well as equip businesses for success by providing opportunities for professional and business development, encouraging growth and collaboration between leaders, and being active advocates for local businesses. The effectiveness of the Chamber is entirely dependent on member support and involvement. A volunteer board of directors governs the Chamber, and a professional staff runs the day-to-day operations. Committees of volunteers from member businesses help the Chamber implement and achieve its goals. Latest News Ribbon Cuttings Ribbon Cutting Held for Lakeside Bar & Grill by Sarah Fleming | May 9, 2024 | Ribbon Cuttings Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Lakeside Bar & Grill on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at 11:30 am. Members and Ambassadors of the Brownwood Chamber welcomed owners Robert and Sheila Cotham. Lakeside Bar & Grill is located at 175 Lakeside Drive in Brownwood. Owners and staff encourage the community to come and enjoy a variety of food options. From Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce to seasoned and flavored to perfection chicken wings and food from Comida Mexicana to Aquatic Cuisine. All of which you can pair a variety of Tap beers or a nice Lakeside Paradise. So come out for Karaoke or sit out on the covered patio with your meal and drink with a beautiful view of Lake Brownwood.
